Importance of doing the right thing for customers.
I was browsing through Walmart‘s website today, and found this intuitive way to show the User Reviews.
What’s different about this layout is, it gives you complete picture of the product as opposed to a skewed reality.
Where most websites try to focus on positive reviews, this layout also tells you about most helpful negative review.
I could imagine this wouldn’t be an easy decision for Product leaders, if say, it were to actually decrease the sales.
But if you see this in the long run, it would actually decrease the number of returns and increase customer satisfaction, making users sticky and loyal to the platform.
I wouldn’t be surprised, if other e-commerce aggregators follow the suite.
Do the right thing for your customers, and they’ll fall for you!
